Frequently asked questions
Can I use Hazelnote for free?
Yes, with no time limit. Free has three notebooks or whiteboards, three folders and every pen. Sync, templates and AI come with the subscriptions.
What is the difference between Essential and Pro?
Essential is for people who mostly take notes: unlimited notebooks, sync and templates, plus a small AI allowance to try it out. Pro is for studying with AI: notes, quizzes, flashcards, tutor and audio in full.
How much AI does Pro include?
Pro includes a generous allowance that renews weekly and monthly. You can always see how much you have used in the settings. If it ever runs short, there is the AI Pass.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, any time in the app under “Manage subscription”, between Essential and Pro and between monthly and yearly.
How do I cancel?
In the App Store or on Google Play, wherever you bought it. The app links you there under “Manage subscription”. Your notes stay.
Is there a free trial?
If the store is currently offering one, the app shows it to you before you buy, with the exact length. If there is none, nothing is promised.
