Privacy policy

In short

This website sets no cookies, embeds no analytics or advertising services, and loads nothing from third-party servers. There is no form and no account. It is text, two links to the app stores, and the legal documents.

What is processed when you visit

As with any website, your browser sends technical data to the server delivering this page: IP address, date and time, the address requested, browser and operating system identifiers, and where applicable the page you came from. A page cannot be delivered without them.

They are processed to operate the site and to defend against attacks, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is keeping the site reachable at all. We do not analyse this data and do not combine it with anything.

Language

If you open hazelnote.app without a language in the address, the site sends you to the German or English version based on your browser’s language setting. That setting is read and not stored. The switch at the top right lets you choose for yourself at any time.

Fonts

The fonts are served from the same server as the page. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other provider.

The app stores

The two buttons lead to Apple and Google. What happens there is their responsibility and subject to their privacy policies. The connection is made only when you tap; nothing is sent to them before that.

The app

This notice covers the website only. The app processes more, because it does more: account, subscription, notes. Its own privacy policy is at studycardsai.horize.de/privacy-policy.

Your rights

You have the rights set out in Art. 15 to 21 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Write to hello@fade.de. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, usually the one where you live.
