- The account is gone right away, and all its content is deleted for good within a few hours.
- Deleting doesn't cancel your subscription. You do that in the App Store or on Google Play.
You don't need to email us to delete your account. It takes a few steps in the app. Read what happens first, because it can't be undone.
How to delete your account
- Open your profileTap your avatar in the top right. This opens Profile & settings.
- Delete accountScroll all the way down and tap Delete account. You'll see Really delete your account?
- ConfirmEnter your password and tap Delete for good. If you signed in with Google or Apple, your provider asks once more who you are.
This second check makes sure nobody deletes your account by accident.
What gets deleted
Your account is gone right away. Everything in it is deleted for good within a few hours:
- Summaries, recordings and transcripts
- Notebooks, whiteboards and documents, including uploaded PDFs and photos
- Study sets, quizzes, flashcards, study goals and practice exams
- Chats and settings
On the device you delete from, Hazelnote also removes what's stored there, such as recordings that haven't been sent yet.
Your subscription keeps running
Subscriptions run through Apple or Google, not through us. That's why deleting your account doesn't end your subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or on Google Play, before or after you delete. See Cancel your subscription for how.
If you can't get in anymore
If you can't get into your account, email us at hello@fade.de from the address you signed up with, and we'll delete it for you. There's more on the Delete account page.
